Volatile orbs are random powerups in the Dominion Tower. When activated, it produces a random effect:
- Heals the player who used it to full, including prayer points
- Increases the combat stats of the player who activated it
- Gives the player the life saver handicap, allowing them to revive from death once. This can only be granted once per round.
- Disables eating for the player who activated it for 30 seconds
- Disables prayers for the player who activated it for 30 seconds
- Disables ultimate abilities for the player who activated it for 30 seconds
- Weakens every monster currently targeted by the player
- Strengthens every monster currently targeted by the player
